No backup since change of partion layout

Post by dc7os »

Last Monday i've got the insider build of Win11. I've to convert my ssd from BIOS and MBR to UEFI and GPT. After this convertation all things works fine, only my backup fails after 3.5 hours and 70 GB of transfered data.

What could i do to perform a working backup again?

TIA, dc7os

Hi Karsten,

We are testing compatibility with Windows 11 insider builds in our labs, yet there is no official support for the new OS.
Typically Veeam Agent support for new versions of Windows is shipped with an update following Windows release date.

Having that said, you want to stick with Windows 10 stable builds until Windows 11 will be released, so we can add it to our supported OS list.

/Thanks!

Hi,

first i do the update to Win11 with BIOS / MBR. After the update i've got no problem with the backup. Two days later i change the partion layout to UEFI / GPT and the backup fails. I think it's no problem of Win11. But it should work with UEFI / GPT to, because this is the layout on the laptops of my wife and my son running with Win10.

TIA, dc7os
