No response from remote backup service
Hello, anyone experiencing the following error backupping to a Veeam B&R Repository?
"Preparing for backup
Error: No response from remote backup service"
It seems to me the the issue arise after updating the Veeam B&R Server to v8.0 patch 3
Clients are running VEB 1.1.0.110

Our QA cannot confirm this behavior, can you please open a support ticket and submit all logs for investigation?

[MERGED] No response from backup service
Hello,
I've installed veeam endpoint backup since 2 months on two desktop computers.
The backup is sent to B&R 9.0.0.1491
Since 2 or 3 days, the backup of one of these computers fails, with error message :
Error : No response from remote backup service.
In B&R, during the backup initializing, the task is "running", so I think the link is OK.
The other computer (with the same backup configuration) works fine.
Any help please ?

Hi,
Please describe how the failing desktop and B&R are connected. I also suggest you to double-check ports. If you find out that everything OK, then please open a case with support team and post your case ID here.
