Notification
feature request?
we get many error messages of veeam,... because first and second backups failed, the third works (nearly every day) - so every time veeam sends an email...
so it would be cool if veeam only sends an email after the (for exampe) third error.... i think in veeam replication there is an option for this.. not in the endpoint backup
you have the same problems?
thanks a lot

Re: Notification
Hello Philipp and welcome to the community!
Indeed there is an option to Suppress notifications until the last retry in VBR, but not in Endpoint.
Thank you for the feature request!

Re: Notification
I agree with Nikita! Thanks for the request. But what bothers me more are all the failures... Do you know why?

Re: Notification
Can you elaborate how many email report you get during one backup job run from one VEB instance? In worst case VEB sends two email reports: during first job run and at last job retry (which happens if your job constantly fails). There is no need to suppress notifications because we do it by default.get many error messages of veeam,... because first and second backups failed, the third works (nearly every day) - so every time veeam sends an email...

Re: Notification
Right, i cheched it again, 2 mails each day... the second is ok
But in one week 7 mails...
It would be good if there were an option for it - you dont think so?

Re: Notification
The option will be useful indeed, thank you for that request.
But I`m also curious why you are having the warning each day, i.e. why backup does not work when it is scheduled?

Re: Notification
Philipp,
Not sure I follow. Would you like to get a status report once a week instead of daily activity, is that correct? Thanks for clarifications.

Re: Notification
hello
daily activity would be great...
the best way would be to have more options for the notification.... in the menu
thanks
