Offsite client backup

Post by Yorick »

Hi,
Im trying to backup my off sites workstation to my local server.
Now when I try to Back-up my client to my server it starts, but after around 30-40 seconds it gives me this error Error: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.135.141:2500.
192.168.135.141:2500 this is my local ip address, but in my head it needs to respond to my public adres. How can i achive this?

I've open both 2500 and 10001. after that I tested the firewall and it is working correctly. Is this even possible what i am trying to do here ?

I can ping my server via the client both with IP adres and FQDN. Thanks in advance,

Greetings, Yorick.

Hi Yorick.
As of today, Veeam agent cannot operate behind NAT. Use direct networking with VPN of some sort, like Veeam PN.

... or you can consider using Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise (need to meet certain requirements to be eligible to use this product, our sales rep can assist you with clarifications).
