Password protection

Hello,

It could be interesting to add a functionnality that permits administrators not to have their client configuration modified by end-users.

I think veeam could add a password protection for the "Configure backup" button on the agent for windows.

Is it possible ??

Hi Christophe,

It's not possible via UI but you can enable LockDown mode via Configuration API by settings this value in the xml and importing it back to the agent

LockDownMode
Parameter describing if the LockDown mode must be enabled. Possible values:
True — LockDown mode is enabled.
False — LockDown mode is not enabled.
