Permissions for workstation restores
Hello, hoping someone can help me out here. We would like to give our desktop support guys access to do restores ONLY on PC's - not servers. Is there a way to set it up so he can only touch the desktop PC's we have backing up without giving him access to server stuff? I know there is a "restore operator role" you can configure in enterprise manager, but it doesn't seem to give me an option of choosing desktops under "choose machines" option. It only shows servers. Can anyone help?

Re: Permissions for workstation restores
Hello! If I remember correctly, you should be able to select your desktop Protection Groups as the restore scope there? Thanks!

Hello Jessica,
Indeed, it's possible to select a dedicated protection group or specific machine when setting up restore scope via Enterprise Manager. Take a look at this Help Center article to learn more - Configuring Restore Scope and let us know how it goes. Cheers!
