1. Physical server Installed Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows, But company policy blocked the USB drive that can't use Bare metal recovery media. Can the Physical server achieve System state backup? If so, is there relevant documentation and Veeam certification and actual operation?
2. When I used the server HDD from 2 months ago and put it on the existing server to test startup, the server name from 2 months ago can be recognized in the Veeam console, and the related file recovery can be restored without affecting it. Existing server backup job.
Then shut down the server, put back the original server HDD, and restart. In the Veeam console, the backup can be successfully performed without the need to create a new Backup job.

Re: Physical server achieve System state backup and restore
Hello Eddie
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=60
To be able to restore your system to physical hardware (Bare Metal Recovery), a recovery media must be used.
You create the recovery media either on a USB stick, on an optical disk (CD, DVD or BD media) or save it as an ISO file. You may also use PXE boot if you like your machine to load the recovery media over network while booting up. But this must be configured outside of the Veeam Agent.
Best,
Fabian

Is there a question for number 2?2.
