Powershell management

Post by Cragdoo »

I am looking at monitoring the VAW jobs using powershell (for our local monitoring agent). Are the powershell cmdlets installed with the agent or am I going to need to install the VBR console to allow the snapin to be loaded??

There is no PowerShell support in standalone agent. For agents managed by backup server you can create and manage Protection Groups, the rest is coming in Update 4. Thanks.

No short term plans for standalone agent (but we already have Configuration API).
