Re: Prevent Cryptolocker
Hi Davide,
Veeam Agent can eject the target media upon job completion, so it will be offline if\when cryptolocker starts his job. Backup storage will be offline, thus backup files will stay intact, able to restore data back. Appropriate option can be set on Schedule Tab of a backup job wizard.
There are multiple ways to achieve resiliency against ransomware, as agent-based backups can be also put on Tape or copied to the cloud with optional Immutability, via Veeam Backup and Replicaiton.
/Thanks!

Re: Prevent Cryptolocker
Hi Davide,
You may also want to take a look at Veeam ONE's Suspicious increment backup size alarm that can inform you if the size of an incremental restore point produced by Veeam Agent for Windows operating in Agent Management mode significantly differs from those created previously.
I hope it helps. Thanks.
