How do I specify a proxy server for the update check?

As far as I know, Veeam Endpoint should be using your configuration from Internet Explorer. Do you see any difficulties with the update process?

The update check fails, and I can see the attempt to connect directly to 212.68.12.69:443, ignoring proxy settings.Vitaliy S. wrote:As far as I know, Veeam Endpoint should be using your configuration from Internet Explorer. Do you see any difficulties with the update process?

Hmm... can you try to apply this solution to allow updates of Veeam Endpoint backup?

Re: Proxy server for update check
Hello Lars,
We have discovered a bug – Endpoint update functionality does not pick the proxy settings from the IE configurations. Its going to be fixed but meanwhile try to grant direct access to the *.veeam.com site if possible. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but alas I do not want to make any exceptions for using the proxy server. Manual updates until this is fixed for me thenDima P. wrote:Hello Lars,
