Question About Pre-job Scripting Options

Hi,

My Veeam Agent backup job is managed through the Veeam Backup and Replication server, if I choose the pre-job script option from what I understand the server copies and executes the script on every machine in the protection group then waits for the exit code before continuing the backup job. Does this sound correct?

Hello Scot,

Pre/post job scripts are going to be executed on the Veeam B&R server. If you want a scrip to be executed on the agent side - prefreeze / postthaw scripts in application aware image processing should be used. Cheers!
