Request: Extract vbk on repository
Would be nice to get/restore files on Repository-server instead of on the computer/backup-server. Specially on remote offices

Re: Request: Extract vbk on repository
Hi Steen,
Do you refer to built-in Win FLR wizard that is available on the backup console? Can you please tell us a bit more about your current setup?
Thanks!

Re: Request: Extract vbk on repository
hi.
Its very slow to download restorepoint to headquarter from remoteOffice.
When using vdhx its much faster to use "extract" or "Veeam.backup.extractor" on Repository on remoteOffice and extract vdhx and mount it and copy file

Re: Request: Extract vbk on repository
Do you store backups only in the remote office? What about using backup copy jobs to sync these backups with the repository in HQ? In this case not only you will speed up the restore process, but will also be compliant with this recommendation > http://www.veeam.com/blog/how-to-follow ... ation.html
As to your request, then we will look into this. Thanks!
