As Veeam Agent for Windows Server can do application aware backup, I guess You can do restore of these items to.
But I can't find any information on this in the docs (except when You use VBR as the backup location)
Anyone that has used this functionality that can help me?

Re: Restore of SQL in Veeam Agent for Windows Server
Hello JonArne,
You can restore SQL items using Veeam Explorer for SQL, so frankly speaking Veeam B&R is required to perform application item recovery.

So without B&R, the only option is to restore the mdf and ldf?

Correct. Without Veeam B&R, file level recovery is the only option.

Re: Restore of SQL in Veeam Agent for Windows Server
Is this the same for Exchange Data?
I thought there was a MDB standalone tool to read the MDB Database but perhaps that was a 3rd party tool?
Is it possible then to install Veeam Backup Free Edition to get access to the Exhange\SQL explorers and restore data? I just don't know how it would restore data\email to a single physical server SBS for example or would you be limited to exporting to a PST which would be good enough in most cases?
Thanks
Alan
