Hi,
unfortunately our VPN is not on the list of supported 3rd party VPN.
Is there any way to configure Veeam Agent to recognize GlobalProtect by PaloAlto Networks as VPN?
If this is currently not possible then please add my feature request:
- support for VPN GlobalProtect
Thanks,
Detlev

Re: restrict VPN connection usage
Hello Detlev,
Thanks for your post! We've reached PaloAlto Networks to get trial/NFR key of the software but were not able to get any software for internal testing, so there is no 'native' support in the product.
There is a registry hack:
you need to find this key, modify it's value and add desired VPN adapter name to the list. This key tells Veeam Agent to disable backup over the set network adapters (disable backup over VPN option should be checked in the UI). Hope that helps!

Code: Select all
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Endpoint Backup\RestrictVpnNetworkAdapters
