Retention policy

Dear,
How can i determine retention policy for endpoint backup while i am backing up endpoint to a veeam repository.

Dear Dima,
Thanks for the reply, of course i know how it works but in VEEAM endpoint settings there are no options except that you keep backup for specific period of time.
I made it to keep restore points for 1 month but it remember all restore points and does not delete any old ones.

Emad,

With VEB you do not setup the number of restore points but days of successful backups. In case you set retention to keep restore points for 31 day, you should have at least 31 restore point for every day. Plus if you have more than one restore point per day – that still counts like one day in terms of retention logic.
