Hi,
Is there a way to configure a more complex retention policy for Agent for Windows? I would like a number of days, then months, then years. If not, can i manually take a copy of the .vbk and hopefully be able to restore from it?

If you send backups to VBR server you can use Backup Copy Jobs to achieve GFS however if you aren't using VBR you will have to manually use this. A VBK can always be used for restoring.
