Rights to connect to SQL server instance (SQL staging server)

Hi, where can I find the required permission for a Windows account to connect to a SQL server instance when configuring a SQL staging server? I cannot find it here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110. Must it be sysadmin? Thanks!

Restore, Instant Recovery

The account being used must be a member of the Local Administrator group and must be granted the sysadmin role on a target Microsoft SQL Server. For more information about Microsoft SQL Server roles, see this Microsoft article.
