Rotating eSata destination drives

Post by VaefV »

Case ID - 03608051
I want to use VAW to backup to 2 external eSata drives in rotation. The drives do not show up in Manage registered storage devices.

Is it possible to set this scenario using VAW.

Hi Colin,

Both eSATA and SATA drives are considered as internal drives, thus, cannot be added to the rotation. You may use USB connection as a workaround.

Thanks
