RPC function call error

Hi,
I'm testing Veeam Agent free on a windows 8.1 pc.
I'm trying to run a backup (entire pc) to a shared folder but i get this error:
RPC function call failed. Function name: [GetSvcVersion]. Target machine: [127.0.0.1].

The PC has no other Veem role.
The Veeam B&R Free is installed on a server.
The backup destination folder is a remote NAS shared folder.


I don't know :
- why the IP address 127.0.0.1 is shown as I choose a remote shared folder as destination.
- How to solve the problem

Hello Luca,

Try to type in path to the shared folder and specify access credentials if that's required.
