A notebook is protected using VEB.
I made a backup before upgrading to Windows 10.
The upgrade was successfull, but I can't say that no problem will arise in the future.
Te testore point made before upgrading will be removed as I keep a limited number of restore points.
Is there any way to save the restore point made before upgrading to Windowsw 10 and keep it somewhere offline for possible future use?
Regards
Marius

Re: Saving a restore point
Hi Marius,
Was it an incremental (VIB) or full backup (VBK) that you've made? If it was a VBK file, then you can offload/copy this entire file to another storage device. If that was an incremental run (VIB), then you to copy the entire backup chain you have.
Thanks!

Re: Saving a restore point
The ideal way of achieving this was performing an "ad-hoc" backup before the upgrade... sorry that my advice is completely useless to you right now, but may be something to keep in mind in future.

Thank you.
Next time I'll perform an "ad hoc" backup.
