Possible to have schedule a bit more flexible (then the only option every day)?

Today you indeed are only possible to schedule on a daily basis. However, if you combine the scheduling with triggered events, you can go far and schedule more flexible. Well, I still can not see how to do the backup every M T W T F, but no weekends

And what happens if I have do not do the backup more then xx hours, but I select manual backup NOW (do the hours apply from NOW or from last scheduled backup)

Why not to put in normal full scheduler instead?
