Scheduled backup with Cryptolocker Protection

We would like to configure a scheduled backup that ejects the mounted drive on successful completion of the backup (Cryptolocker Protection).

However, the configuration option for Cryptolocker protection is only available under "At the following events" on selection of "When backup is connected".

Why can't we have the removable storage ejected for periodic backup scenarios?

If you connect the device the "when backup target is connected" will take care of the job. The reason of the eject is to assure it isn't available for a longer period needed. As a workaround you can use the windows task scheduler to mount it before the backup job runs and it will be ejected once the backup is finished.
