Hi Guys,
We have got couple of remote users so i tried many options for backup like cloud connect and one drive for business but due to bandwidth restriction backup doesn't work very well.
Only option i see is to use external hard disk as backup destination. But problem is that most of the time users forgets to connect external hard disk so i am thinking to use SD card instead of External hard disk. This SD card will be inserted in laptop slot all the time so that when backup is schedule it will be done on SD card and user don't need to bother to connect external hard disk.
I have only concern if laptop is infected by ransomware then it might encrypt backup on SD card as well. So I am looking for the script which will mount and unmount SD card when backup is about to run and once backup is done. If logical SD card eject option is available then well and good.
Mount will be happen through may be WTS which triggers script(windows task scheduler) and Unmount will be taken care by Veeam Agent May be. I can see eject option in Veeam and really don't know it will work well with SD card.
I have seen similar post in this community and one guy in forum has this script. uploaded link is already expired so could not get the document or script.
Dima has this document i guess.
Thanks,
Govi

Hello Govi,
