Sizing Gateway Server to backup Workstations

Hi teeam,

we have to backup remote sites with only workstations. We chose Dell DataDomain as repository.
in this context, we must deployed Gateway server on site.
Knowing that we have sites with at max 700 workstations and a bandwidth limited to 1 GB, what would be the correct sizing for the Gateway server ?
in this case can we add multiple gateway server ?

What is your goal? Daily, incremental backup of workstations to the gateway and replication across 1G?

Hi Nils,

Goal is to backup daily workstation on DD via Gateway server.
GW server is a pre-requisite to backup workstations to Data domain.
