Slow Calculating digest on large volumes

Hello all!

I'm trying to take backup of a server with three large volumes connected to it to our Veeam repository with Endpoint backup (Physical server).

The Calculating digest takes forever. I canceled the job after 14 hours. Could it be beacuse there is a large number of files and folders on the server (1.2-1.5 million files and 200k folders on each voilume)?

Is it possible to disable the digest to make the backup?

No, this is a part of the actual backup process.
