Re: Snapshot backup from Agent
Hi Roderick,
How is this volume mounted to a VM? Veeam Agent uses VSS to create snapshots, so if this device/volume is present at the Windows OS level (for example, via iSCSI), then you can back it up with the Agent.
Thanks!

Re: Snapshot backup from Agent
I know i can use the agent to backup the volume with VSS, but the resources on the container is limited. The volume is 15TB, so doing a VSS snap then a backup of that volume takes a toll on the CPU of the container. So i was trying to backup the volume from the array opposed to actually processing the backups from the container.

Re: Snapshot backup from Agent
Roderick,
You can backup desired files with VSS via File level backup (with the rest of the volume content being excluded), but backup will be performed with VSS anyway. Will such approach work for you? Cheers!
