Source Email address on Veeam Agent

Post by DarkAlman »

Can we get a feature request to have separate fields in Veeam Agent for source and destination email addresses for alerting?

We have to use 3rd party SMTP relay agents at a number of our remote sites and because the source and destination emails are the same the alerts keep getting blocked by the SPAM filter.

Hi DarkAlman,

First: Welcome to the forums!

Two: Thanks for the feature request. This is requested a few times already and your vote is counted! (But that doesn't mean it will make it into the next version ;-))

Cheers
Mike

I see that you're registered as VCSP, so if you want to have different email address for alerting, then take a look at Veeam Availability Console, which provides centralized management for VAW.

DarkAlman,

If you are running paid version of an agent you can use different from and to addresses by editing the xml config file.
