SQL DB +TLOG truncate not working

I need to backup sql db + truncate tlog each 1 hour

After install veeam agent at the db servers and configure Veeam server with an object storage as the backup repository the Full DB backup job ends OK.

-Parent Job backup: Volume C:\ and Volume G:\ (where DB + tlogs are located)
-App aware: DB Tlog Job backups run each 1 hour and truncate los correctly.

As Volume G: just have Database files I decided to remove it from Parent Job.
After removing Volume G:\ from (Filesystem Job ), Full DB Backup runs OK but Tlog backup each 1 hour stop running.

My Doubt if its necessary to configure backup Volume G: and "application aware" for sql and tlog backup ends correctly?

Hello Gustavo,

Application aware processing for the database wont work if the database is excluded from processing, so, yes, you need to backup the underlying volume. Thanks!
