Hey Veeam Community ,
i hope it exists a way to start the Veeam Backup Standalone Backup with the command line of Windows (CMD.EXE)
This would be very great to schedule this command line per windows task scheduler
Have a nice Day

Johannes,
Unfortunately this isn't possible as of today. We are certainly thinking about this for the future
Cheers

Hey Mike
This would be great
A better solution would be, if you can plan and control this fullbackups from the Veeam Server
this could be a chargeable feature, i would buy it.
Cheers

Johannes,
You mean: From the B&R server, right-click on a "client" and choose full backup?

Mike,
yeah this would be very helpfull!
To control your endpoint ( Clients) form the B&R server and have the options Full Backup / Inkremental Backup.
At the moment you can only disable or delete the job

alright,
Then we understand each other
. This has already been requested in the central management topic(s) and for today I can't tell a lot about it, we are certainly looking through all of these requests for the longer future
Cheers

Hello guys,
Code: Select all
Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe /standalone
Now its possible to start both ad-hoc backup and standalone full backup via cms - feel free to test the said functionality in latest update. Since auto update will not be enabled immediately, for now you can download the build manually from our
website .
Thanks!

That should be Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe /standalone
/backup runs an ad hoc

Peter is correct.
/standalone creates standalone backup (what is being discussed in this thread)
/backup runs incremental backup (or full, in case this is the first job run)
I've corrected Dima's post.

Argh, and I misused the term "ad hoc"
"Ad hoc" = standalone, so I should have written "/backup runs a regular backup"
