support case number 04613984 - email notifications
Hi, all,
I stopped getting email notifications from Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 4.0.1.2169 - Free Edition in December 2020. I submitted a support case (support case number 04613984) but it was not selected for support, and it has been closed and archived.
I get the test email and I have all three boxes checked to get emails in the event of success, warning, and error.
If anyone has a suggestion for how to fix this, I would be grateful to hear it.
Thanks,
Michael

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
You could try upgrading to version 5, but I expect the same result. If you say that the test-message works, I would assume that the other mails end up somewhere in spam.
Depending on your setup, you could check on the mail-server side in the logs. Or check on your side in the logs in C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Endpoint
Best regards,
Hannes

Hi, Hannes,
I don't send any messages to my spam folder. It's empty. I took a peek into Endpoint and there are so many logs, I don't know where to start...Is there a particular log or logs I can look at?
Best wishes,
Michael

notepad++ with "find in files" is what I usually use to find something in the logfiles.

I upgraded to version 5 and experienced the same behavior. I found the log file using notepad++, which indicated my office email is blocked. I changed to my personal email and it is working. Thank you for your help, Hannes.
Best wishes,
Michael
