Hi,

Since a few days, I keep getting this error message when the daily backup runs:

12.08.2015 17:45:26 :: Full backup file merge failed Error: There is no FIB [summary.xml] in the specified restore point. Failed to restore file from local backup. VFS link: [summary.xml]. Target file: [MemFs://frontend::CDataTransferCommandSet::RestoreText_{b476dce5-021b-491c-9527-f5a869d0c3b2}]. CHMOD mask: [0]. Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.RestoreText}.

There *is* a .vib file with 3 GB size at the backup location, so the backup must have run somehow...

Any idea what could cause this?

Thomas, please open a support case ID, as logs investigation is required to understand what has happened to the backup file.

How do I open a support case?

Endpoint backup is not in the list of available options to open a support case... I only can open cases for Veeam B&R and Veeam ONE

You can open a support case right from the UI of Endpoint. There is an option to do that via email.
