Ticket # 02096872
Seems to have started around the time that I connected a USB drive formatted in ReFS into the Windows 10 Pro machine in question (which I found out doesn't work!
). Not sure if it's a coincidence?
Code: Select all
13/03/2017 5:01:29 PM :: Error: Timed out requesting agent port for client sessions. --tr:Failed to initialize agent ( specified agent path: [C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\x86\VeeamAgent.exe], arguments: [ -g"2500-5000" -i"{eb78cc04-b670-441b-ab60-5b90b9131499}" -l"flush,C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Endpoint\Backup__Job__USER_BPC/Agent.Backup__Job__USER_BPC.Index.log" -f 25 --vddkLogLevel 1 --maxPendingBlocks 10000 -n -x"{7fa89ce9-8cc5-48ac-9683-23a8fe66002a}"]) --tr:Failed to initialize agent instance {eb78cc04-b670-441b-ab60-5b

I am also having a similar issue here:
Code: Select all
Error: Timed out requesting agent port for client sessions.
--tr:Failed to initialize agent ( specified agent path: [C:\Program Files (x86)\Veeam\Backup Transport\x64\VeeamAgent.exe], arguments: [ -g"2500-5000" -i"{aa01b2b6-5737-4054-a5b0-3dd65dd89773}" -l"flush,C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\SSP__VMs___B____Tele__2/Agent.SSP__VMs___B____Tele__2.Target.log" -f 25 --vddkLogLevel 1 --maxPendingBlocks 10000 -n -x"{644269eb-7bc0-4414-86d2-0ad78b7dbcb1}"])
--tr:Failed to initialize agent instance {aa01b2

I have just seen that Bitdefender was blocking VeeamAgent.exe because of "suspicious behaviour". I have since uninstalled Veeam Agent 2.0 so I cannot test to see if this was the cause but the first time it blocked it was the 9th March, which was 3 days before I posted my comment here.
