Tray Icon disappear

Hello,

as soon as I hold the mouse over the tray icon in the lower right corner it disappears.

So I can't open the status/settings window.
Also a restart of the application/restart of the PC does not lead to any improvement.

I have already looked into the logfiles, but could not find anything.

How can I continue searching?

Only uses the free version so don't able to open a support case.

Hello and welcome to the community!
Support cases may be open even by customers on free product edition.
What product version(build number) are you at?

Hi Jan,
- double check VeeamEndpointBackupSvc is up and running under Services.msc
- try running C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Tray.exe manually

Service is running

don't start anything (no tray icon, no window)

i can manually start Veeam.EndPoint.Backup.exe ..Recovery.exe ..FLR.exe

Please share the agent logs - you can upload them and send private message to me on forums, or open a support case at cp.veeam.com and share case ID here.
Zip entire C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Endpoint.

You can open a ticket straight from the agent UI, from any other machine(since your agent UI ain't working).
That will open a free tier case.
