Two notifications for same job ...
Hello,
I have a Windows 10 client machine with the Veeam agent running.
The backup task for this machine is managed by the server.
In the notification options for this task is configured that at 7 am a notification mail will be sent.
But now i have two notifications for the same job. One at 7 and one at 8 am?
Why is this happening?

Hi Engelhof,
First of all welcome to Veeam Community Forums and thanks for posting.
Second, could you please share a few screenshots of the notification emails and notification configuration for our better understanding?
Thanks

This is the first notification that came at 7 AM, right? What about the second? Or it is absolutely similar to this one?

Just to clarify,
Your Agent jobs are managed by B&R server, right?
Thanks

Is there any chance that your address is also set as a recipient in the global notification settings? If it is then it explains the situation.

Hello,
yes in the global notification settings the mail address is also set.
ok - but why is there a 1 hour delay between the two mails and where i have to remove the address - in the task or in the gobal settings?

Re: Two notifications for same job ...
Hi,
Global notification emails are being sent at 8 AM strictly, while at the job level you have an option for configuring it (it will reuse the global notification email template, but the time setting only applies to the job-level notification configuration).
I'd suggest disabling the job level settings and actually, this is the only option because if you disable the notifications globally you'll completely stop getting them regardless of job-level configuration.
Please take a look at that thread - should give you more hints on how the notification mechanisms work.
Thanks
