Unable to create a Cloud Connect backup job

Post by dcampregher »

Hi,
After insert the registry in the VBR at the SP side i am trying to configure on JOB directly to the CC repository. In the end of the configuration i receive the following error:

Unable to create backup job.
Failed to save the cloud repository.
Failed to retrieve a trusted certificate from the service provider.
Failed to establish SSL connection.

What SSL certificate are you using at your Cloud Connect site? If its trusted have you got port 80 open to verify the chain?

Ive seen a similar error in Backup and Replication console when not been able to verify the SSL cert.

Below is a guide on when its successful: https://carlmcdade.com/2017/03/29/veeam ... rkstation/

Carl is right. Make sure that nothing is blocking the connection to your Cloud Connect repository (NAT/Firewall/AV).
