Re: Unable to create backup job
Hi Alex
Thank you for your case number.
While you wait for an answer, can you check if WMI works properly? If not, a WMI reset may be required.

Re: Unable to create backup job
I checked C:\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\Objects.Data is only 27 mb
Ran command: winmgmt /verifyrepository and got
WMI repository is consistent
However when I opened Computer Management and check Properties under WMI Control and got error message:
Failed to initialize all required WMI Classes.
Win32_Processore: WMI Invalid Class
Win32_WMISetting WMI: Invalid Class
Security InformationL Succesfull
WIn32_OperatingSystem: Invalid Class
Just wondering if that points to WMI Corruption?

Hi Alex
Yes, looks like there are issues with the WMI repository.
You may use the following kb from Microsoft for further troubleshooting.

Re: Unable to create backup job
Thank you. Issue is resolved.
I was able to create a backup job after rebuilding the repository.
Steps taken:
1. Run command: Winmgmt /resetrepository
2. Reboot Server.
