Usage for commercial purposes is FREE or not free

Post by Dmitrij »

Hi guys!
The name of your software 'Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE' implies that it's free. But anywhere (neither on your website nor in UELA) I haven't found any mention about commercial use of this software. Therefore, the commercial use is not allowed and your soft is non-free for commercial use. Right?
Please explain this.

Hi Dmitrij and welcome to the forums!
Could you specify what you mean by "commercial use"?
You can use Veeam Endpoint to backup production servers.
Thanks!

Yes, it's free for any type of usage, including commercial. There's nothing in EULA because there are no limitations on how you can use our free products. Thanks!

That is another reason this is such a great company! You don't find companies very often that truly allow you to use their free products as you wish. Kudo to Veeam!
