Use Veeam Backup for Windows to backup vm
Hi,
Silly question but can you use Veeam Backup for Windows to backup a VMware virtual machine. We want to backup Exchange servers but exclude the passive and lagged copies of the databases due to lack of backup space.
thanks,
John

Hi John,
Yes, you can protect virtual machines by the Veeam Agent for Windows.
Please take a look at the threads about exchange backup by agent: Exchange DAG, Exchange DAG 2016 BP, Exchange DAG 2013 BP. Thanks!

Hi John.
Log truncation (as well as application processing) is available in server edition of Veeam Agent for Windows.

You can install the license via the 'about' tab. More information can be found here.

Hi,
When I click on About it says Licence and Edition are managed by <IP address of the Veeam B&R Server> and I can't do anything
