Validating a backup
I s there a way to validate a backup so if I ever have to restore it to a pc I can count on it being valid with no errors?

Re: Validating a backup
You have todo manually restore tests on a spare hardware.
As a workaround, you can do a instant Recovery to an esxi Host and test the recovery of your software/data as a vm.
There is no automatic „SureBackup“ for Agent Backups.

Re: Validating a backup
Hello folks,
That's true, we currently do not support agent backups in Veeam B&R SureBackup jobs, so can add your vote to this feature request here. In addition to periodic restores, can propose to enable the periodic health check functionality in the agent job (to periodically check backup files for corruption caused by underlying hardware). Cheers!
