VAW 3.0 constantly timing out during restore

I'm using the method "Restore Files Overwrite" with VAW 3.0
Everything with Veeam FLR Explorer. I'm not using Windows Explorer.
Restore timeouts after 10 minutes.
I have set the reg key. No Changes to timeout time.
Is this behaviour fixed in version 4.0?

We've reviewed the list of issues fixed in v4, and, yes, several improvements in this area were included. Can you please upgrade to v4 and let us know if the issue still persists? Cheers!

Already done the restore

I can say, if I set the key to an incredible high number (example: 8888888888998), then the limit is first ten minutes, then after canceling the timeout warning popup around 15 minutes and so on.

If I set the key to 24 hours, it works.

Looks like there is a max limit to this key. Above the limit, veeam agent get a strange behaviour
Until the limit, everything works fine.

DWORD max value is 2,147,483,647 but I have doubts that QA have tested 68 years timeout value
Anyhow, glad it sorted out.

Having a very similar problem to this. The timeout happens after about an hour. Then if I press cancel it seems to have already decided to dismount the backup file in the background and comes up with the following message.




I'm going to try the reg key. It's not there by default but I can add it and see if that helps.

The registry key to set the timeout period works but I still get the message saying the writer thread was terminated. I guess I'll have to find another way of restoring this data.
