Hello,
i have a Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 R1 running with VAW 4.0.1.
I have enabled the Guest Processing and tried to set it to use the SQL credentials... but i either do not know the correct syntax, or it is not flat out supported.
Tried checking the documentation, but nowhere it is mentioned about this.
The SQL server is not using Windows authentication, instead its using pure SQL auth, with the "sa" user.
Does the VAW Guest processing for SQL support SQL authentication, if yes, what is the correct syntax to authenticate?

Re: VAW and Guest Proccessing with SQL creds
Hello,
there are two things go consider for your setup.
The setup might not be supported depending on the patch level. The description is not precise enough (service pack is missing)
- SQL requirements https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=40
- Windows requirements: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
And there is no support for SQL authentication: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100

Best regards,You cannot use Microsoft SQL Server accounts (for example, the SA account) to connect to the database.
