VAW really slow restore [Case# 02417427]

Post by ftcnet »

We're concerned about what seems to be excessively slow restore time.

Config is Core i7 3.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 480GB SSD, Win7Pro x64 restoring from NAS box (Drobo 5N) on 100Mb/s switch.

Image

.. just seems too slow for 2.1GB

Image

.. both the PC and NAS are plugged into the same switch

Image

.. CPU looks to be a bit busier

What can we do to help VAW restore faster?

Hi Bernard,

Can you try to perform ‘copy to’ operation from the VeeamFLR folder via regular Windows explorer (VAW mounts it under C volume after you start the File Level Recovery) and share results?
