VBR and Agent version compatibility

Hi Team, are there any compatibility guide between VBR and the agent for Windows, Linux and etc?
I would like to know the compatibility guide but could not find it on Veeam support page.

Could I ask one more? Are there same information for VBR v10?

I have read the v10 doc but on this version, there is no same page for this version.

Previously, I insatlled a backup agent v5 on my windows server and tried to backup VBR v10. But the job could not find the target windows.
So I uninstalled the v5 agent and re-install v4 agent as push install way then the backup job worked.
So I guess the v5 agent and VBR v10 may not compatibile.

I don't think that a similar document exists for the previous version (at least I cannot find it). But it is expected that a new version of the agent (v5) released with VBR v11 does not work with VBR v10. In case of the v10 release, v4 and v3 agents will be supported by the backup server, and not v5.

The best practice is to use versions of the backup agent and backup server that are released together, there is no compatibility between new agents and old VBR server versions.
