Hi,
i discovered today the 5.0 version due to the auto update.
i would like to know if the new version changelog that says "20H2 compatibility" means that the old 4.0.1 will surely don't work in a system volume restore of a 20H2 windows.
this mean that i have to pay attention and update my PC only after the update of Veeam, and not viceversa. by the way i am pretty bothered about this thing and why we need so much updates... means that microsoft every time changes something relevant in the system partition that require so much changes?
thank you in advance

Re: Veeam 4xx and Windows 20H2 question
Hello Landman,
4.0.1 was released earlier than 20H2, but backup & restore functionality works without any issues according to our tests. The most of the issues with new MS releases are related to recovery media creation, so we have to make some adjustments in Windows agent and declare the official support with new version.

That's not required, you can upgrade agent whenever you need.this mean that i have to pay attention and update my PC only after the update of Veeam, and not viceversa

Re: Veeam 4xx and Windows 20H2 question
ok, thank you so much for the info.
so, if i created a recovery media 4.0.1 on a 20H2 machine, could be possibile (or it's sure) that the iso will not work?
