Is backing up directory to S3 (compatible) storage still planned as part of VAW version 6?

Re: Veeam Agent 6 - Direct Backup to Object Storage
Hello Fabian and good day,VAW V6 will have direct backup to object storage.
sorry for jumping straight into the thread.
We are facing a scenario where an existing customer is currently backing up 20 or so Workloads (running in Hetzner public cloud) with the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows to a Veeam Cloud Connect Repository provided by iland. Each VM is isolated from other VMs.
We monitor the state of these data protection operations using our own Veeam Service Provider Console.
Once the new VAW V6 will will go GA in the upcoming weeks, we will definitely go ahead and switch to a direct backup to object storage instead.
I am curious to check what are the recommendations for this scenario. More specifically, do you recommend that we create a separate bucket for Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows ?
Thank you in advance for you support.
Kind Regards,
M.

Re: Veeam Agent 6 - Direct Backup to Object Storage
There are significant considerations depending on object storage provider to be used. Some S3-compatible object storage providers have functionality (STS/IAM) allowing Veeam to easily manage multi-tenancy within a single bucket, while for other the dedicated bucket per tenant (or per-machine even) will be a must.
