Upgraded from Veeam Endpoint Backup on Windows 10 1709
Scheduled backups were running as normal, set for everyday at 5:30 am before upgrading to Veeam Agent 2.0.0.700 free edition.
Since upgrading to Veeam Agent, my scheduled backups are not running.
All settings are the same.
After 4 days of them not running, I went into the settings and toggled Disable Scheduled backups on and off
I also toggled and changed all the settings in the schedule section to see if a setting might have been displayed wrong or set wrong.
The next day the scheduled backup did not run.
So I uninstalled Veeam and then set Recreatedatabase to 1 in the registry, re-installed Veeam and then set up my backup and schedule again.
The scheduled backup has not ran.
It will back up normally if I click the 'Backup Now' button.
Also, there is no record of Veeam making the attempt to start a scheduled back or having any errors.
It is as if the scheduled backup is disabled and Veeam doesn't know it is supposed to perform a scheduled backup.
I only have the green entry from the successful manual backup.

Re: Veeam Agent for Windows 2.0.0.700 free edition
Biajja,
Even with the free edition, there is support. It doesn't come with an SLA, it is based on best effort but we will get back to you. Please use the support from the control panel to create a support case and explain what is happening. Then our engineers will contact you (as said, best effort basis) and they can work with you to solve it.
The moment you have a support case ID, post it here, and after investigation with our engineers, post the outcome also for others
Thanks
Mike

Re: Veeam Agent for Windows 2.0.0.700 free edition
This is the fix for anyone interested:
we have a regkey called Sysprep mode. This regkey is created when sysprep is used to set up the software. Please modify this regkey and change its value to 0 (Decimal). Please restart the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows service from services.msc. After this, the scheduled backups should run.
