Hi all,
I had just a quick question I need some assistance with. Would a sever license for Veeam Agent for Windows allow the backups generated to utilize the fast clone technology when creating full backups? My Veeam managed backup repository volume is ReFS on 2016 (same server), but my full backup with the free edition over the weekend did not utilize the fast clone based on the job's details and size of the backup. I know the server license would allow synthetic fulls, but that's independent of the ReFS technology.

Hi Gary, yes, ReFS integration is supported. Also please note, that fastclone works on synthetic operations only.

I read this and wonder if fast clone does not work for forever forward incrementals (default in Veeam Agent), for me it looks like this is a merge operation:
