I am sorry if this has been posted already, search on this site did not find any results.
I have a windows 10 PC and have installed and configured the Veeam Agent for Windows.
I am able to backup to our Veeam repository and the backup runs just fine.
When I return to the computer the next day, the shortcut I pinned to my start menu as well as the install folder are missing.
The Control panel shows the application is installed but I cannot find the executables on the PC any longer.
No event logs that show any removal of files.
PC is fully patched.
AV is Microsoft Defender, with DAT updates every 15 minutes from Azure.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the agent three times now, each time the same thing, install, configure, backup all go fine. Next day files are missing.
The PC was not rebooted between installs and backups. I did however reboot before the last install of the agent.

Re: Veeam agent for Windows
Hi Ronald,
This behavior does not seem to be a common issue. Did you by any chance open a Support case? It's always required when you post a technical issue.
Thanks!
