Veeam Agent installs sqlexpress 2012, but where do I see it?

As I understand it, veeam agent installs sql server express 2012. But I don't see a running instance of sql server 2012 in sql server's configuration manager, or find it listed as an instance in SSMS. I need to know what port it is running on, and in general would like to be able to 'see' the instance with the normal sql server tooling. Can someone explain why I don't see it?

Also what port does the veeam agent sql server use? What is it's name?

The veeam agent for Windows installs Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP4 Express LocalDB Edition. This is not the same like a full blown sql (express) server. This is why you can’t see it.

Connection between agent and local db is severed over pipe and not via port. Can you please elaborate why you need this information: if we understand the use case better - we can advise on the solution. Cheers!

Thanks for that info. I only wanted to make sure that I know what port it was on to be sure there couldn't be a conflict. If via pipe then not an issue.
