Veeam Agent OneDrive storage - misinformation?

Post by nawrockip »

Dear Community and Veeam support,

Can someone help me understand itd.
On Veeam Agent for Server there is an information that I can have OneDrive as a backup repository in server edition (see here https://www.veeam.com/pl/products-editi ... rison.html)
but when I try to set it there is no such option and also I found topic in this forum saying that onedrive is not available for servers. So what is the truth? Is it available, can it be set somehow? we would like to add second taks in agent 3.0 to backup some data to onedrive.

Direct backup to OneDrive is supported only for workstation operating system type. Free version is limited to operating system backup only. The checkbox on server is wrong on the page however if you hover over "Microsoft OneDrive", you can see it's only supported in workstation and free version.

Patryk,

To clarify the statement from edition comparison: direct backup to OneDriver is supported by any paid license (Workstation or Server edition), however direct backup to OneDrive might not be supported by operating system type where your agent is installed.
